The Phi Beta Kappa Society recently announced the launch of a new scholarship program as a part of the National Arts and Sciences Initiative’s Key into Public Service campaign. The Society will award $5,000 undergraduate scholarships to a cohort of 20 liberal arts and sciences students with demonstrated interests in public sector work and will invite applications for the program beginning November 1, with awards announced next spring. Additionally, the Society will provide in-person training, mentoring, and pathways into public service for recipients at a required convening in Washington, D.C. next summer.
The scholarship is open to continuing undergraduates with anticipated graduation years between Fall 2023 and Spring 2025. Phi Beta Kappa membership is not required.
