Spring 2004 Induction Banquet

The Spring 2004 Induction Banquet was held Tuesday, April 27 in Alumni Hall. Lisa M. Pratt, professor of geological sciences, delivered the Phi Beta Kappa address "Detection of biosustaining energy and nutrient cycles in the deep subsurface of Earth and Mars." One hundred twenty students were honored that evening and the hall was filled by friends, families, advisors and professors. Carter Smith Gerard was the recipient of the 2003/2004 Margaret Russell Edmondson Award for Excellence.
