The Fall 2020 Induction Ceremony was held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, via Zoom. Michael Hamburger, Professor of Geophysics in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, delivered the Phi Beta Kappa address. Morgan Mohr, a former student of Professor Hamburger’s, who was elected to Phi Beta Kappa as undergraduate student at IU and who became a Rhodes Scholar that same year, joined the ceremony to deliver a congratulatory message. During the Fall semester, 140 students from the College of Arts and Sciences graduating classes of 2020 and 2021 were elected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa.
