The Fall 2008 Induction Banquet was held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9 in Alumni Hall in the Indiana Memorial Union. George Hutchinson, chair of the Department of English and Booth Tarkington professor of English, delivered the Phi Beta Kappa address "Nella Larsen: Biographing the Color Line." One hundred nineteen students were honored at the banquet.
