The Fall 2006 Induction Banquet was held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5 in Alumni Hall in the Indiana Memorial Union. Raymond J. DeMallie, chancellors professor of anthropology and adjunct professor of folklore, delivered the Phi Beta Kappa address “Black Elk, Holy Man of the Oglala Sioux: An Anthropologist’s Perspective." One hundred thirty students were honored at the banquet.
